My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were very big, much larger than what I expected from a regular hotel in Geneva, with supercomfortable beds. However, the décor was a bit strange, with a pseudo-baroque style and worn-out furnishings. On the bright side, the rooms were spacious and very comfortable for a good night's rest.

The staff had a unique blend of being naturalized Swiss with Russian origin, possibly explaining the unconventional decoration. Although friendly, they didn't always handle complaints well. On the upside, they were welcoming, hospitable, flexible, and assisted with parking and bike usage.

The hotel is conveniently located in the Champel Area, just across the road with easy access to the University hospital and a bit away from the hustle of central Geneva. This worked perfectly for my needs, especially with the old town within easy walking distance.

The dining experience was satisfactory with generous portions that set me up well for the day. The breakfast menu was basic but adequate, offering fresh fruit, bakery items, juice, and coffee/tea until 2 pm.
